Chrona Whirlwhisk
Alignment: Isleborn Citizen
Region: Amber Plains
Category: Specialist
Win Condition: Eliminate the Ravager and restore balance to Leão.
Setup Modifier: Temporal Pressure
When Chrona Whirlwhisk is in play:
All night abilities must be completed within 5 seconds after the Architect signals the role to act.
If a player hesitates, fails to act in time, or gives an unclear response, the Architect may rule the ability as failed, randomized, delayed, or improperly executed.
Roles with multiple choices must complete every part of their action within the same 5-second window.
The Architect is encouraged to perform visible countdowns for dramatic pressure and pacing.
This modifier affects the entire table and fundamentally changes the rhythm of the Night Phase.
Special Ability: Time Freeze
Once per game, Chrona may freeze time during the night.
When activated:
The Night Phase pauses immediately.
All players must remain completely still with eyes closed.
The Architect secretly reveals:
One player who was visited that night
And 2–3 possible players who may have visited them
For simplicity and balance:
The visited player may be chosen by the Architect
orMay default to the player seated nearest to Chrona.
The revealed suspects always include uncertainty, preserving deduction and paranoia rather than granting exact confirmation.
Passive Ability: Momentum Engine
Chrona exists slightly outside the normal flow of time.
Whenever Chrona is affected by:
pending death,
poison,
manipulation,
silence,
freeze,
or similar disruptive status effects,
there is a 50% chance the effect fails entirely as the timeline destabilizes around them.
The Architect should resolve this publicly or secretly depending on the tone of the match.
