Golden Triad Seraph
Win Condition
Shared with Sol.
Setup Modifier: Celestial Recruitment
This role may NOT be added directly to the Folio or Assembly.
Golden Triad Seraph only enters play through Sol's recruitment.
Special Ability: Rebirth Flame
Once per game, resurrect one dead player.
Upon activation:
- the Golden Triad closes their eyes,
- the revived player is secretly awakened by the Architect,
- and informed of their revival.
The revival is NOT publicly announced.
The revived player:
- regains all original abilities,
- including first-night abilities,
- and may use abilities normally beginning the following night.
Passive Ability: Celestial Unity
You wake with the Golden Triad each night.
Game Impact & Strategic Tips
Seraph introduces hidden resurrection into the game, creating uncertainty around death confirmations and dramatically extending the value of powerful one-time roles.
Reviving:
- Informants,
- first-night roles,
- Protectors,
- or even dangerous Chaotic Influencers
can radically reshape the game state.
Because the revival is secret, players may unknowingly continue speaking around someone they believed to be permanently dead.
Backstory / Lore
Seraph was once said to be the heart of the original Golden Triad: the soul capable of calling light back into extinguished bodies. Legends claim Seraph walked through funeral pyres untouched, hearing whispers from spirits lingering between worlds.
Those restored by Seraph often return changed. Some describe visions of radiant suns beyond the veil. Others awaken with fragmented memories and a haunting sense that death still follows close behind them.
Personality & Traits
Seraph is calm, compassionate, and deeply spiritual, though unsettlingly detached from mortality. They speak softly about death as if it were merely another doorway waiting to open.
Despite their warmth, there is something eerie in the way Seraph watches others: as though constantly measuring how brightly their souls still burn.
